On July 20, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1900/QD-BCT on the imposition of official anti-dumping duties on certain plastic products and products made from polymers of propylene originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the People’s Republic of China (case code: AD07).

According to Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management, one year before the expiration of the anti-dumping measures, the Minister of Industry and Trade issues a decision to conduct a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures. The details of the final review are specified in Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 63 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018, detailing some articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade remedies (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP).

The Trade Remedies Authority officially announces the receipt of dossiers requesting a final review of the case. According to Clause 2, Article 62 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP, within 30 days from the date of this announcement by the Investigation Agency, domestic producers have the right to submit dossiers requesting a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures. The deadline for the Trade Remedies Authority to receive dossiers is no later than May 24, 2024.
