On June 19, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1466/QĐ-BCT regarding the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain monosodium glutamate (MSG) products originating from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia (Case Code: AR02.AD09).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade commenced the investigation of this review in June 2023, based on a request submitted by the Fufeng Group of China in August 2022. During the investigation, the Ministry complied with relevant regulations of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No. 10/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 15, 2018, which provides detailed provisions for the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding trade defense measures.
On January 5, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 22/QĐ-BCT on the results of the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain MSG products originating from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia. The investigation concluded that there were changes in the dumping margin for the Fufeng Group from China, which requested the review.
