The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) is currently receiving dossiers requesting exemption from anti-dumping measures on polyester long yarn products. The product for which an exemption is requested is described as follows:
– Name and Description: Drawn textured yarn from polyester multifilament, cord form, not high-tenacity yarn, not sewing thread.
– HS Code: 5402.33.10
– Composition: 100% polyester
– Size: 300D/4/2 ply
– Usage: Used for manufacturing doormats

To consider the exemption request for the product described above, the TRA respectfully requests domestic producers to collect and confirm the following information:
(i) Production and Supply Capability: Information on the ability of domestic producers to manufacture and supply the exempted product. If the product is already being manufactured and supplied, please provide detailed information on design capacity, contracts, and sales invoices for the product in question.
(ii) Opinions on the Exemption: Views and opinions regarding the exemption for the specified product.
The TRA requests that companies submit their responses to the TRA by April 19, 2024. After this deadline, if no feedback is received, the TRA will assume that companies have no opinion regarding the exemption of the specified product.
